While stationed at Fort Knox , Amy met and married her husband, Mark Corron. They have lived in Kentucky, Virginia, Florida, and Ohio before settling with their three children in her hometown of Temperance. She enjoyed working as a pre-school teacher's aide and as a reporter for her hometown newspaper, The Bedford Press, before quitting to devote all her time to writing Christian romantic fiction.

Amy enjoys working with pre-school children at her church, Bedford Alliance, and spending lots of time in the woods of northern Michigan where the Corrons own a vacation home. Her favorite hobbies are reading, cooking, and of course, writing!

Since becoming a published author, Amy has had several opportunities to speak to churches, book clubs and women's groups. She often shares her testimony of her nearly 17 year battle with panic disorder and God's healing in 2002. She enjoys sharing with others the miraculous things the Lord has done in her life since Emma's Promise was published and all the ways her faith has been tested and stretched during the long road to publication. She also shares the in's and out's of the creative process, the writing life and the process of publication.
